We are ideally located in Axminster, East Devon, just a short 3-mile drive from the seaside town of Lyme Regis and the famous fossil beaches of the Jurassic Coast.
Q: Do you offer dog-friendly accommodation in Devon?
Yes, our Detached Studio is completely dog-friendly and welcomes up to three dogs. It features a secure, private enclosed garden. Please note that The Snug and The Suite are pet-free rooms.
Q: Do your rooms have self-catering facilities?
Yes, all our accommodations support self-catering. The Suite and The Studio feature fully equipped private kitchens with ovens and hobs, while The Snug provides a convenient kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, and toaster.
Q: Is there free parking available at the B&B?
Yes, every room comes with a guaranteed free private parking space on our driveway for the entire duration of your stay in Axminster.
Q: Do you provide Electric Vehicle (EV) charging?
We offer convenient on-site Electric Vehicle charging for our guests at £15 per charge. Please arrange and book this in advance of your arrival.
Q: Is your accommodation suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Our Detached Studio is situated entirely on the ground floor with no internal steps and includes an accessible shower chair. The Suite and The Snug are located on upper floors and require the use of stairs.
Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM on your day of arrival. We kindly ask that all guests check out by 10:00 AM on their day of departure.
Q: Are there local pubs and restaurants within walking distance?
Yes, the 16th-century Hunters Lodge inn is just a 10 to 15-minute walk away. For local treats, Teas & Creams Tea Room is directly opposite us, and River Cottage HQ is just a short 2-mile drive.

Yes, complimentary superfast Wi-Fi is provided across all our rooms, including the detached annexe, keeping you connected throughout your Devon getaway.
Q: Which rooms are best for a family stay?
Both The Suite and The Studio can comfortably accommodate up to 3 guests and a baby, making them excellent choices for small families. The Snug is a compact double room ideal for solo travelers or couples.
